New Hair for Mama

Last Friday I decided I needed a hair change. I have had long hair for quite awhile now. It’s nice to have but boy is it a lot of work.

I have really thick hair to add to my long hair. I couldn’t stand washing and styling it. It was so heavy when it was wet that my arm would get tired from brushing it! I finally decided to just be done with the long hair and get it cut.

I went to the salon with what I wanted in my mind, and got exactly what I wanted! The stylist did an awesome job. She was also really fun to chat with. Good thing since it took about 3 hours to highlight and cut my hair. Another stylist walked by at one point and asked if all the hair on the floor was mine. It ended up being about 6 or 7 inches.

I always feel awkward doing the picture taking in the bathroom by myself. I was too embarrassed to ask Kyle to take the pictures. Anyway…

I absolutely love it! Getting ready for church yesterday morning was so much easier. I am also proud to say that I was able to style it like she did at the salon. That usually never happens for me.

So that’s my new look! I am a happy camper

Side note: My stylist looked almost exactly like my good friend Katie, who is also a hair stylist. It was crazy! I was about to ask the girl if I could take her picture so I could send it to my friend. I figured that would be weird.
